My name is Ana .
I grew up somewhere between Mendoza and California. Following my undergraduate studies at UC Berkeley, I practiced Architecture and Art in the Napa Valley for three years.
I am now based in Los Angeles , where I continue to practice Art and Design while also pursuing my Masters in Architecture at UCLA.
Place
As an architectural designer, physical space plays a key role in my creative process. These days I am lucky enough to produce most of my work in a beautiful craftsman style bungalow, and I wouldn't have it any other way. The emphasis of natural materials and hand crafted details inspires me to home in on my own craft.
Process
I use a variety of techniques but as of late I have been approaching my pieces almost as a hybrid between a large format line drawing and the traditional build- up of paint. In this way I feel that I can blur the line between process and completion.
